Former Jordanaire Passes Away

The Jordanaires have seen members come and go. The revolving member always seemed to be the bass singer. Before Ray Walker came along and became pretty much the face of The Jordanaires, Hugh Jarrett had a short stint as their bass from 1954-1958. He also sang background vocals for artists such as Connie Francis, Jimmy Reed, and Bo Diddley. Sadly, Hugh succumbed to complications from an automobile accident that he sustained on March 25th. Funeral Services have not been arranged for the accomplished vocalist.
