So let me get this straight — this writer thinks it’s funny that Mindy McCready’s latest suicide attempt failed, because of all the personal demons in her life that she seemingly hasn’t been able to resolve? It seems to me this poster at “Bloggin the Floor Over You” also needs help … and a lesson in sensitivity and good taste.
Yes, it is up to Mindy to seek the professional help she apparently needs so desperately. She is a beautiful young woman and has such a pretty voice (not pure country mind you, but one I really enjoyed). But beyond urging her to seek help, everything is up to her.
I am sure that “Bloggin the Floor Over You” has never walked in Mindy’s shoes, what with depression, failed relationships, substance abuse and the like. I pray he/she never has or ever will. I know I haven’t, so I can’t speak for Mindy. But I can offer her a prayer that things go right and that she is able to find the strength to pick up whatever pieces she can in her life and carry on. God will get her through this.
To Mindy McCready: You have our love and support, and we pray that you are able to find treatment that will meet your needs and help you to live a better life. Godspeed.
