Vern Gosdin has always looked like somebody who stepped out of a Louis L’Amour novel. Put him in western wear, and you could definitely see him riding shotgun with Sam Elliott in The Sacketts. He still has that air of machismo with that glorious mustache, but with a defeated hairline. Recently, he has come out of hiding to not only promote his recently released Box set 40 Years of the Voice, but he has announced that the proceeds from it’s sales will go to Voice for Relief. This organization provides aid to families that have been devastated by intense storms. The Voice has been named it’s spokesperson. Oh I wonder if their theme song is going to be “Is It Raining At Your House.”

verne has always been my favorite country music artist, could someone please tell me where to sign up for his fan club, and let me know where he is at now, and is he still recording, as i have lost contact with him over the years.thanks for letting me leave a comment.
