Vince Gill and Amy Grant are two very proactive artists that are effective in their respective charities. They are always giving to the organizations such as Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and America’s Second Harvest. Gill and Grant always seem to find new and creative ways to raise awareness and money to those who are in need. They will host the banquet, Challenge America: 2008 Providing Hope to Wounded Warriors and Their Families, which will honor disabled soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan and will take place on June 17th in Washington, D.C. Among Amy and Vince, former presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter, former vice-president Al Gore and Bill Frist will attend. Vince and Amy have done a remarkable job in raising money for disabled veterans. They have raised an impressive 3 million dollars for Challenge Aspen, which provides snow boards and snow skiis to wounded soldiers. No matter what your opinion is about the war this is an impartial cause that any one can and should root for.
