Well, prepare to get your bluegrass fix with Del McCoury’s new album “Family Circle,” slated to be released on Oct 27. No matter if the tune is new or a classic Del always seems to be the man who defines and redefines the pure sound of bluegrass. Songs like, ” Sweet Appalachia” and “Revenuer’s Blues,” will no doubt give testimony to this fact, but it is going to be refreshing to hear him on the pop standard “I Remember You.” Of course, all of the major players are joining Del on this album. Ronnie and Rob McCoury, Jason Carton on fiddle, and bass player Alan Bartram always transform Del’s sound into a perfect one. This will be a must have.
