Every country music publication loves to praise the marriage of Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill. It seems that every time you pick up an issue of Country Weekly they want to tell you how well Alan and Denise are doing. But no one ever pays attention to country music’s perfect match that is truly one for the story books. Queen of Country Music Kitty Wells and Johnnie Wright(no one would dare call Johnnie the king of country music) will celebrate their 72nd wedding anniversary tomorrow. Kitty and Johnnie first burst onto the music scene in the early 1940’s as Johnny Right and The Harmony Girls. While their success drove them different directions, their love for each other never changed its course. The couple hung up their touring spurs in 1992. Their marriage has lasted for 72 years, but their musical legacy will live forever.
