Macy’s Thankgiving Day Parade

I hope everyone throughly enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday.  I know that I did, I spent time with family and friends, and like everyone else ate way too much!  I’m not sure if you were able to catch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or not, but I did.  It’s a tradition in my family to watch the parade every year.  And I was surprised to see Trace Adkins riding aboard one of the floats.  He was able to sing one of his latest songs, “You’re Gonna Miss This.”  It looked like it was really cold in New York City where the parade was held because Trace’s nose was red, and he was wearing his long, black, winter coat with a black scarf.

Several other singers rode on different floats throughout the parade including David Archuleta, America’s sweetheart whom many believe should have won this year’s American Idol.  Yes, the same show that launched Carrie Underwood’s career and help start Kellie Picklerand Bucky Covington’s careers as well.

Now Thanksgiving is over and it’s back to the real world for a few weeks until the Christmas holiday rolls around and Santa comes back to town.
