Rascal Flatts is getting geared up for their summer tour.  Guess who will be joining them as a sponsor?  Yes, J.C. Penney Company…but there is another sponsor along for the ride on the Unstoppable tour.  Hershey’s chocolate will be sponsoring the Flatt boys.  I would be excited about Flatts and their new tour except for the fact that all of their music sounds the same.  I really enjoyed their first two projects “Cherry Coke” was one of my favorite songs.  But somewhere between there and now they have started to sound like Kenny Chesney, who in my opinion everything he sings sounds the same.  Mix it up some, don’t be so predictable with your music.  Brad Paisley has figured out that writing your own material works, and he writes about some random things.  I love a lot of his songs, “Online” and “Waitin’ on a Woman” to name a few.  Kenny made it big with his Caribbean feel of country music…there’s only so many directions that feel can go–take a new direction! Just because it got you to the top, doesn’t mean that it can keep you there.
